Felix Club Restaurant

Bad food in great setting! We booked table at this Berlin hot-spot in good time prior to our visit. Restaurant was only 1/3 full when we arrived, which is usually not a good sign.

The place is really hip and cool, and would be a great setting for a top dining experience. Unfortunately the kitchen does not at all live up to the trendy and modern settings.

The menu contains a limited choice of both starters, in-betweens, main courses and deserts. All sounds really good on paper, but are not!! We had the in-between salmon as a starter. Nice presentation, but really average in creativity and taste.

For main course, my partner ordered the veal, and I ordered the pig. The meat for both dishes was over-over cooked, and accompanied with the worst sides we ever had (but again, nice presented). The main course was at a level you would expect from a German high-way cafeteria, not from the so-called hippest club restaurant in town. We left most of the main course after our tasting.

After the main course we were asked by the waiter if she could bring us the check, as staff would change for the Club night (around 23:00). We then had to leave our table, as it was now reserved by the club-guests.

At this time, the club was now pretty crowded, and the party started. Really cool dj's and a great atmosphere made this part of the visit really enjoyable.

All-in-all: Avoid this restaurant! You can get far better food in many cheap Berlin restaurants, and probably a better service too. Find another place for your dinner, and go to this club after midnight for the perfect combination.

Dined here during a trip to Berlin with girlfriends. Excellent meal with advantage that you get free entry to the club later in the evening. Ideal venue for a night out with friends.

Was not expecting the high standard of food that we had at Felix last Friday. Service was exemplary and the place is certainly worth a visit just for it's stunning surroundings. It turns into a club later and it was great to watch the beautiful Berliners! Would highly recommend this place for a fab evening out.
